Setting up static pages (html or other)

Hiya, looking at this tech, nice forum, but had a look at the add on's and other sites mentioned but could find how I add static to just have written content from a link or drop down menu, this may exist already, so let me know and any good examples of such sites, thanks

I created a lot of static page nodes on one of my sites. You can see an example here:

CAM Chart

A chart of complimentary and alternative treatments for epilepsy.
www.coping-with-epilepsy.com www.coping-with-epilepsy.com

The "News" page on that site is a PHP node that calls a php script to process RSS feeds, The XF node system has a lot of flexibility.

Is that node feature also what was used for the sub-header under your 'chart;' link ?

If you mean the text that appears in my post where the link was posted, yes - the XF page node editor lets you define certain page elements like that description.
