Setting custom date and time formats

    For those who aren't aware, there is the option to set the data and time formats exactly as you want in the ACP for each language by use of the "Other" fields.

    These fields utilise the PHP date function, a full description of which can be found here: http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php

    So for example, if you want the date strings to be displayed as Friday 5 November 2010 then you would use this set of parameters: l j F Y

    (For German sites the standard format is: d. F Y )

    Click on the language name to edit the setting.

    Found it thanks but the problem is that changed the date display all over the board...

    That's correct - it's a global setting.
