A 500 error is being returned.

Contact your host and ask them to check the server error logs to determine the cause.

In which case you will need to investigate why a 500 error is being returned.

Then check the apache error logs to see what the issue is.

There's obviously something wrong. Can you get into your admin panel to view the server error log? Is there anything in the php error log file? Is there anything in the apache error log file?

Are you using a VPS or dedicated server? If so, they're generally located in /var/log/apache/error.log or /var/log/apache/error.log

If you're using shared hosting, ask your host. If you have a control panel, it may be able to show you from there (cPanel can).

You have to go into phpMyAdmin and repair the xf_session table.
