XF 2.1 Server error log

I just got this server error when someone registered on my forum and I don't know how to fix the issue, any help would be appreciated greatly.

You will need to contact your host and ask them to enable proc_open.

If they won't your options are to switch to SMTP email delivery, or change hosts.

I presume emails have been working fine until now so your host must have changed something very recently.

I had proc_open disabled recently because a different software that I use considers having it enabled a security risk. I'll leave it enabled.
