Serious concern: Why were XenForo customers never informed about this alleged internal data leak?

NPO happened months after XF employees fed information to litigants (2023). Read ¶18-24, it's in plain language.
Congratiulations. You just found out and posted what has been said and posted countless times in this thread already over the last seven pages, starting with the first page. You are really a clever boy. What you wrote on top of that is either highly speculative (yet you try to sell it as fact aka "they did", so it could be defamatory) or simply outright wrong:

they [the owner] could have been American and insulated from the underlying causes of action (harassment, misuse of private information, breach of data rights [the UK GDPR ironically], and defamation).
GDPR and I would assume the other UK rights as well protect UK citizens. No matter where the person guilty of it lives. The only issue is wether it is possible to get hold of the person, if there is a chance that a trial would lead to an effective outcome.

Xenforo broke their own terms by ratting out the user before any court order was issued.
Did they? How do you know for sure? Who exactly is "Xenforo"? Regarding "broke their own terms": Maybe you should read those terms before making such statements. The license agreement says:

You are solely responsible for ensuring that Your Content and Your use of the Software complies with all applicable legislation and regulations, including but not limited to all applicable Data Protection and Privacy legislation.

You undertake to ensure that the Software is not used by You or others to engage in or promote: illegal activity; any activity that would violate the rights of third parties; defamation, discrimination, harassment, hatred or harm of third parties.
(...)
You hereby agree to indemnify Us from any loss or damage arising from Your breach of this provision.
It seems pretty obvious to me when looking at that tattle forum that tattle broke this license agreement.

XenForo Limited will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your explicit permission or are required by law to do so.

Discovery has revealed emails passing between the first plaintiff and a confidential source who appears to have been working for Xenforo, a forum software provider used by Tattle Life until December 2021. The first of these was dated 22 March 2023 but it was clearly preceded by previous email correspondence which has not been located as it is believed to have involved a different email address. The emails indicate the source has identified an IP address said to be hosting the Tattle Life site. The first plaintiff asked if he should proceed with a court order against Xenforo and is advised that he should
.

In other words, the “confidential source” at Xenforo did not wait for a court order to reveal the owner of the Tattle Life Xenforo license. Instead, he just leaked it.

You are a funny guy. The court was not sure that it was someone from XenForo and choose a speculative wording. Yet you claim it as a fact, refer as a proof to a post that an anonymous ferret (that could easily be yourself) has published somewhere on the web based on the existence of this thread and don't distinguish between a person (aka "the source") and the company XenForo and completely ignore the useful parts of the discussion that has been ongoing over the last pages aside of the made up claims.

So once again: Where do you get your so-called "facts" from?

I get my facts from court documents and discovery
As your "facts" are obviously not part of the court documents: What discovery are you talking about?

some random German kissing the ass of this company.
Seems that you don't have any valid argumentation anyway if you have to rely on insults and personal attacks. As you seem to hate XenForo from the deep of your heart: Why don't you switch to a different software? The company seems to be unacceptable to you anyway.

You ignore the fact xenforo gave away private information without a court order because your feelings are more important.
Once more you state as a fact which currently is not at a fact at all plus obviously, from what can be read from the court document, there is no "they" but it rather was a single person (inside or outside the company), not a company decision. At least there is no hint in that direction. Yet you claim it again as a fact. So you are making up things. Either deliberately or b/c in your rage you are unable or unwilling to read sorrowfully and understand what's written.
They broke their own TOS but that's okay because your feelings are all that matters.
I made it clear very early in this thread that I can accept it in this very special case but don't think it is a valid way in general and there is not even an advantage for anyone if they act this way. I'd however assume that a lighter variant of hinting that data exists but not revealing the actual data is common throughout the industry as a pragmatic way to deal with the matter. In this special case there seems to have been a certain amount of stupidity involved if the leaked info really came from inside XF and was deliberately leaked w/o the court decision - why would one leave such a proof in form of eMails that could backfire badly (as it does now), if this would be totally easy to avoid, even if one wanted to leak the info? This is in fact the strongest plausibility against the assumption it would have been a XenForo decision as I would assume they would act more clever if they would want to work aside the law.

Other than that: Tattle clearly broke the license agreement of XF, so XF could (or maybe even has) invalidated their license. The tattle forum is probably not what XF had in mind when creating their software. Apart from that this forum was clearly hurting the image of the XenForo brand. So it is easily possible that XF (or persons at XF) were absolutely fine with someone suing them but did not have the resources to do it themselves (and did not want to take the risk either). Speculation.

You on the other hand seem to be absolutely fine with defamation and insults, judging from you behavior and your statements.

How about European attitudes disgust me.
So far about feelings. Once more you have no argument, so the only thing left is personal attacks and made up claims. If you don't like Europeans, why don't you go for an All American forum software?

Your entire argument is "the website is immoral they deserve it".

It's fine for xenforo to break the privacy agreement on third party accessing data if you don't like the content. Don't like it? Use another software - your words.

Unbelievable, but not unexpected considering the social climate "hurty words bad!" and locations involved.

No. My argument ist that there is no proof for what you still claim as a fact and the made up things you claim on top.
Don't like it? Use another software - your words.
I wonder what you hope to achieve? You defamate Xenforo, you insult other forum members, you hate the entire European continent and you consider unacceptable what you made up in your head about XenForo w/o any proof and aside of the known facts. You propagate hate speech, defamation and insults. Which is explicitly forbidden in XFs license agreement as well as the TOS of this forum. So obviously neither the software not the forum suit your needs. The recommendation to use a different software then seems pretty logical. So: What do you want to achieve with your rage posts? It is clear as water that they do not at all contribute to find out the truth but rather the opposite.
