XF 2.0 Send Two-Step Verification to Separate Email??

Is it possible, via an add-on or template, to make my two-step verification emails send to one email address, while all other forum communication sends to another?

I tested mine by sending the two-step verification to the email address for my phone ([insert 10-digit number]@pm.sprint.com). Basically, I want the verification to appear on users' phones as MMS. All other board notices (watched thread alerts, etc.) can send to the regular email address.

One thought I have: Could I add a custom user field a second email address and have the two-step template modified to use that field instead of the user's email address? I don't know how to do that, but would it be possible to do?
