Closed Selection context menu link "Reply" does insert post into wrong editor

When selecting text from a post while editing another post on the same page and clicking the "Reply" link as shown in the screenshot, the selected text does get inserted into the quick reply editor instead of the previously focused edit post editor.

Automated triage: As designed

Thank you for reporting this issue. The Reply option, both on a post and in the selected-text popup, always quotes into the quick reply editor at the bottom of the thread. It does not track which editor last had focus, so an open inline edit editor is not used. Changing that would be a feature change, not a bug fix.
