Sectional Moderators

Do you allow your sectional moderators to have power in your staff sections? Why or why not?

Exactly that. Sectional moderators.
What do they do that is different from a normal moderator or a super moderator?

Our forum has one super moderator, a number of normal forum moderators and one moderator at the node level that has five forums in the node.

  • Super Moderators: Just like administrators, but no access to the admin control panel.
  • Moderators: Only have power in certain sections.

Err, Super Moderators are nothing like Administrators.
Administrators, by definition, have access to the ACP and don't have moderator permissions.

Super Moderators are like Content Moderators, they just have permission across the whole forum.

Ah, right. I'm still getting used to some of the differences in XenForo. :)

We have a Moderator's Node that has two forums in it. One is a Moderator's Forum for discussion about Forum operations and a forum called the Sandbox in which all moderators and admins have moderator access to test features out.
