XF 1.1 Save & Exit Erases Template

So I have just ran into a weird issue that is happening on all of my xenForo sites. When clicking "Save and Exit" on the footer template, for example, the entire contents of the footer template is erased. Clicking "Save all Changes" works correctly however.

Any idea what is going on there?

hmm this seems to only happen when query cache is enabled in my.cnf... I have disabled query cache and now it is working properly.
