    Hi,

I was checking my stock XF forum feeds and I get this error:

'The Feed Being Requested Cannot be Found'

This is a new XF install: Is there something I have to configure in the admin first?

    Thanks. :)

When viewing the feed URL in your browser? Which browser? What is the URL?

I don't see that error message anywhere in the XenForo software so it must be from your browser or reader.

    Jake,

Some of my permissions are restrictive right now (because I'm getting ready to launch the forum). Could that cause this issue?

Any addons? XenPorta? A search reveals several reports of XenPorta causing this error when you override the forum layout.

No I am not using Xenporta.

Oh yeah. The feed obeys the permissions of the logged in user. If the user is not allowed to view the page then it will give that error.

Ok. I'll look into that. Jake, which permisssions do I change regarding what users can see/do:

    User Groups or
    Group Permissions?

    I get confused on this.

You can set permissions for individual forums:

Admin CP -> Applications -> Display Node Tree -> Permissions

    Or for groups in general:

Admin CP -> Users -> List User Groups

Can I ask what Admin CP -> Users -> Group Permissions is for?

    It's basically redundant.

    The permissions was the culprit.

    Thanks again Jake :)
