Rewrite for Full-friendly titles interfering with WP Installation

    Hi there,

I'd like to have a xenforo-forum as a subfolder of a site where I have wordpress installed.
The site is http://gesundabnehmen.com (in German)
The xenforo install is in http://gesundabnehmen.com/adipositasabnehmforum

I'd like to use full-friendly titles, for optimum SEO. However, in order to enable them the manual says that I have to establish a mod_rewrite in the .htaccess file. If I understood correctly, instructions are to place in the .htaccess file the following lines:
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /adipositasabnehmforum

If I place these files in the .htaccess file, the forum runs perfectly with full-friendly titles, BUT it completely breaks the wordpress install (in this case, I can only access the WP-homepage, but if I try to access any of the posts, I get directed to an error page on the forum).

If I don't include the "RewriteBase /adipositasabnehmforum", then the fully-friendly titles will not work.

How can I make this work, so I have both the Worpress-site AND the fully-friendly titles working?
Server configuration is an Apach-Webserver version 2.22.x, and it uses MySQL 5.5.28

    Thank you very much

Put the .htaccess file under /adipositasabnehmforum/ folder.
