XF 2.2 Restricting ads with the built in ad system

I am trying to restrict ad viewing on my board. Im using the built in ad system for a few ads and I want to be able to have the ads not show for one group. How Ive set it up is that people who shouldnt see ads are added to a secondary group that is just used to tell the ad system not to serve these people ads. Im not sure how in the built in ad manager I would expempt these ads.

Can someone assist?

You would wrap your code like this:

<xf:if is="!{{$xf.visitor.isMemberOf([x, y])}}">
    Show content...
</xf:if>

Replace x,y with your secondary user group IDs.

Ive attempted to ad that code in above my Google HTML code and I get an Invalid HTML error. Do you have an example you could show me sans any identifying stuff?
