Does anyone know why the notification bell, messages don't play well with various browser windows sizes ?

It seems like that area should shorten to this

earlier, but doesn't

Why a site like hfboards has such a bad theme is a little bizarre.

You would need to report any usability issues for a specific site to the owner - it's not something we can resolve for them.
