(RESOLVED) Evaluating. Can't get image uploads in a post

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm in the 7-day demo version while I get used to what's what before buying. I have all admin permissions set to yes, but when I go to upload an image, I can't. On my Mac, in Chrome, I can't navigate to another folder to select any option at all, not choosing an image or changing the folder to pull from. I can't even cancel the upload image dialog.

Can you link to the demo and clarify how you are uploading the image, so I can check and test.

Trying to upload an image via the image upload icon within a post. Either as a reply or edit.
The first one worked before touching any settings. Now it doesn't.
I have to escape out of the local file manager dialog to get out of it. Thanks!

As a guest I don't have the option to attach files.

You will need to change the permissions, or create a test account.

No issues here so I suspect it's a local issue with your device.

I don't use Apple but I know many here do, including some of the developers, and they have no issue attaching images.

Well, I tried both Chrome and Firefox. I have a new, current macbook pro and updated software. I've never had an issue uploading images on any other software anywhere. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a huge migration project of a million-post, old vb forum. If I can't get this basic functionality to work, I'm very concerned. Can someone else take a look for me? Thanks!!

Perhaps if you can make a screen recording of what's happening we may be able to offer some advice.

What version of iOS are you on?

And it's the same for Chrome and Firefox?

Yes, same for both. Monterey: 12.2.1

I'm not using Mac but Firefox on windows and was able to add without any issue.

I'm doing a hard reboot and update to 12.3.1. I'll see if that fixes it or not. Thanks.
