XF 2.2 Removing participant from viewing a group message

I started a group message with 2 other people. I now want to split this into individual messages and remove their access to the group so they can’t view sensitive info.

Can I remove a person?

Can I delete the whole thing and then no one would be able to view the content?

There's no function built in which allows conversation participants to be removed.

All participants would have to leave the conversation and then it will be deleted automatically.

Would editing each message (even theirs) effectively remove the info from view?

If you edit the messages then that would be the new content.
