XF 1.3 Removing items from sidebar.

Does anybody have a tutorial on how to remove items from the side bar?

To completely remove them you need to edit the forum_list template.

Or, if you just want to hide them you can target the classes with CSS and use display:none.

I wouldn't even begin to know how to create an add-0n. I'm looking to remove the user info block in the sidebar.
