User titles are dependent on the usergroup with the highest styling priority.

Make sure you have removed them from the Moderating usergroup.

Making a member a moderator and adding them to the moderating usergroup are 2 different things.

I gave it a try; I went to the admin's profile and changed his usergroup from administrative to registered.

And so, it worked. I didn't realize this at first, but I was looking around while in ACP just now.

This is quite different from the way I'm used to removing admins on vB.
