Fixed Registration error when the unregistered user group has no general view permissions and fails to complete the captcha

The general view permission for the unregistered user group is set to no.

If captcha fails due to not completing the field (e.g. for Q&A captcha), it results in:




All subsequent attempts even with the correct Q&A response result in:



It requires a hard refresh and starting over with a new registration to get past it.

Thank you for reporting this issue, it has now been resolved. We are aiming to include any changes that have been made in a future XF release (2.2.4).

Change log:

If the unregistered group has the view permission revoked ensure that failed CAPTCHAs can successfully be reloaded in the event of an error.
