XF 1.4 Registered User Permission

This is the permission for a Registered User specifically for the XenTag edit tag. It's obviously set so that they cannot edit tags.

Yes, I've tested permissions to see for myself and they can.

How can that be?

You will need to post in the add-on thread for support.

Having said that, I wouldn't advise using the test permissions feature in this case as it can be misleading.
I would suggest having a dedicated test account instead.

To answer your second question. I do have a test user who is a registered user.

Now, to your first statement. Isn't a permission a permission? Meaning what's that difference which add-on it's from?

Just because the permission exists in the ACP, that doesn't necessarily mean the back end code (PHP) required for it works as expected.

Only the add-on developer can confirm that.
