Regarding add-ons

Hi,

XenForo already have some great add-ons ready for use. The authors of these add-ons usually attach screenshots to show people how it looks however only customers are able to see those screenshots, not visitors.

I believe that we, visitors, should be able to see those screenshots. Why? Well... why do you believe that we're looking at the currently available add-ons?

It is not possible to allow attached images to be viewed and still restrict other file types.

IMHO, there should be a way to do so in the add-ons forum.

It has been mentioned a few times before.

It's more technical limitations - downloading attachments is a binary permission, it doesn't differentiate between images and others.

The advanced clientèle here at Xenforo.com is wanting "More than a forum" and thus wants to know the status of the Addons.
As well, many potential customers ..... have actually already run a website ... so they want to know specific things like: How are spammers being handled ?
Just because vBulletin.org restricted people from seeing the images ... doesn't mean it was good business.
