    Our old vb 3.8 forum was in /board
    The new xf at /forum

    I know about the redirection scripts, but how do I direct all old traffic from the root to /forum? (our portal page used to be in the root)

    Thanks!

    If the portal is just one file (e.g. index.php) then you can edit that file and add a redirect to the top:

    PHP:
    <?php

    header
    ("Location: http://www.yoursite.com/forum/");

    Works good!

    Ok, so now I've used Shadab's & Kiers redirection tools to re-route all posts, but my old vb board is still accessible.
    For example /board still show's the old forum, /board/online.php who's online, /board/search.php te old search etc.

    So how do I redirect everything else to my new board without breaking any of the re-routing rules? Hope you can help me out here :)

    You can add that line to the top of vB's includes/config.php file. The redirect scripts won't be affected because they don't use vB's config.
