XF 1.4 Redirect loop

Hi, I can't access my site. When I access my site on Chrome it says "This webpage has a redirect loop". I also tried on different browsers.
I did try and find some solutions and tried clearing my cache and cookies but nothing. Also some said that maybe it is the htaccess but I never changed anything in it and this is happening now all of a sudden for hours.

What is the problem? Is this something wrong with the server?

Need more details - can you copy and paste the HTTP request header using this tool?

Is this a shared hosting environment or a dedi/vps?
If shared hosting, have you contacted your provider about any changes they have made?
If VPS/dedi, have you made any changes recently? If so, reverse them and see if it goes back to working.

Thanks for the replies, this has been sorted! It was due to a server misconfiguration.
