XF 1.5 Rebuilding search index, Elasticsearch not responding

I'm stuck... I've been having issues with Elasticsearch crashing due to server memory issues. The host is working on those issues. I keep having to restart Elasticsearch via SSH. I'm trying to rebuild the search index and it says Elasticsearch is not responding. But the search is working on the front end. I can't delete the index and start the process over because every time I go to the Rebuild Caches page it starts processing and stops again with the same message.

What do I do?

Actually, could this have anything to do with Cloudflare? We just set it up a couple weeks back. Is there something that needs to be done to rebuild the search for Elasticsearch if you're using Cloudflare?

Don't think so. I'm also testing with Cloudfare and just rebuilt the index (25+ mln posts). No problem at all...

(But we're testing XF2 btw)
