Rebuilding Caches

Hi

It takes 10 minutes or more to rebuild caches on add-ons, is that normal? I am on a good cloud hosting service. Also removing add-ons takes a long time too! There are time-outs sometimes.

What is up with that?

How can I speed things up?

The only reason you probably getting timeout is because of the hosting service. Rebuilding caches also depend on the amount of posts you have in your site. Maybe upgrading to a higher hosting provider will help you.

XenForo does lots of processing at save time to maximize performance at run time. It's a good trade but sometimes the rebuild can take a while.

To help rebuild time you should delete any excess styles, languages, groups, and nodes that you aren't using or don't need.
