I recall seeing, somewhere in the ACP that I can't find again, some options for how reaction score is calculated, something about if it's posts/reaction posts or some other way.

NB: I miss the fact that moderators used to participate in this forum and now I apparently have to open a ticket to get a response from someone official.

I'm looking for a screen I remember where it talked about things like the ratio of reaction points to posts.

There is no ratio in the core - it's a literal count of reactions based on the value of each one.

Perhaps it was from an add-on?

You might be thinking of the user criteria system, used by things like trophies and notices.

Yes, just found it.

ACP -> Users -> Trophies -> Award This Trophy If ... ->
User reaction score to messages ratio is at least:

A user with 10 messages and reaction score of 5 will have a ratio of 0.5.

If I use "User reaction score to messages ratio is at least:" and a user who was awarded the trophy drops below the ratio, does the trophy get taken away? And how often is this evaluated by default?

I thought you meant the reaction score as a standalone item but yes, that's where the ratio is used.

No, trophies are not removed once awarded, unless the trophy is deleted.

From memory, I believe the trophy cron runs once an hour.
