XF 2.2 React spam cooldown

Hey, I've just moved from Enjin to xenforo and one feature which Enjin had which I cannot find on Xenforo is the ability to prevent people using more than x reacts per day. This was effective at preventing single users from spam downvoting people's posts to ruin their reputation score.

Is there anything I can do on xenforo to implement some sort of spam cooldown system to only allow a limited amount of reacts in a certain time period?

That would require a third party add-on or custom development.

You can set the negative reaction scores very low and the positive ones high, like +2 or 3 for positive reactions and only -1 for negative. Something like that. Should discourage such activity when they see they can't really affect the score all that much.

I think people's ability to downvote is as important as their ability to upvote, I'll look into custom development for xenforo although I have no experience in this already, perhaps a plugin exists somewhere which does something like this, thanks!
