MG 2.0 Random Images or Latest Images on Index Page

When we first installed the Gallery on X1 it was possible to show the latest or random pics on the Index page at the bottom.

is this an option anywhere now? I can't find it

They are now widgets so you can place a media slider widget in the desired position under Appearance > Widgets.
