+ quote: I'm not feeling the love

I've tried using this "+ quote" feature on this site and many others, and I'm not enjoying it. Why is it that when I try to edit a post that contains a quotation using this feature that the software continues to include my responses inside the quotation, even after putting my response outside of the "[/quote]"?

It's maddening. Quite simply, it's not intuitive. Am I alone in not liking this?

Why don't you just implement something like the quoteme feature in the add-ons section, and make it a native part of the software?

If you're editing the quote, you need to make sure you haven't changed the opening and closing. Can you provide an example post where your replies are being inside of the quote?
