We are thrilled to finally release the public version of Quiz System.We built this add-on with a clear goal in mind: to give XenForo 2.3 communities a powerful, native tool to engage users through learning and competition.

💡 Why Freemium?We believe essential tools should be accessible to everyone. That's why the Free version allows you to create unlimited quizzes and categories without any restrictions on quantity. We focused heavily on the user experience and the "gamification" aspect (with the Pro leveling system and certificates) to make it more than just a simple test tool.

it would be interesting if you could compare your answers to others answers? kind of like how okcupid used to compare your answers to questions to others for dating compatibility :)

"Hi! Currently, the addon does not include a forced block or automatic game interruption if the user leaves the current tab or browser.
However, the system already offers effective tools to discourage unfair behavior and limit the time available for external research:
  • Quiz Timer: Each author can set a time limit in seconds or minutes for completing the quiz. Once started, the timer runs in real-time, making it very difficult to consult other sources without risking not finishing the test.

  • Results Management: The system records best scores and attempts made, allowing administrators to monitor user performance.
Implementing 'anti-tab' protection (which blocks the quiz if the page loses focus) is technically feasible; we will consider adding it as an optional setting in future releases if users decide to support it through the Pro version.

"Hi! This is a truly brilliant idea. A matchmaking-style answer comparison would add a deep layer of social interaction to the system.

Currently, the system focuses on individual assessment and global leaderboards (XP and scores), but the idea of calculating a compatibility percentage between two users based on common answers is technically feasible.




This would require developing a dedicated algorithm to analyze the answer history of both users. We will certainly evaluate this feature for future Major releases, possibly as an exclusive module for the PRO version, as it would require more complex data and database management.
