XF 2.1 Quick dumb question

If I have a page open and it has been open 5 minutes, but I hover a username and see their activity (browsing thread whatever). Am I seeing the latest, or 5 minutes ago? In other words, would I need to refresh first? Or is the hover accurate even though the page is idle?

Profile tooltips are dynamically loaded when you first open them, and then cached for subsequent opens (on a per-user basis). This means you are seeing the latest when you initially open one, but would need to refresh the page to see any changes afterwards.
