[Question] XenForo equivalent of if ($_REQUEST['do']?

I've been wondering about this for a bit. In vB, if I wanted to create a mod, I'd create one php file, where I'd basically create different actions, using a _REQUEST['action'].

If I want to achieve the same in XF, how would I go about doing that?
