XF 2.0 Question about Style Compatibility

Finally upgraded to XF2 and was about to upload a style I bought - DarkTabbed for XF2 - when I noticed the version number on the style is out of sync with the point release of XF2 (v2.05). As long as the core style was written for XF2, does it matter whether the current XF point release is listed on the style's XF version requirement?

You might need to merge templates from master to your style, there's an in-built gui for that, but other than that, you're free to use any 2.0.x style probably.

Yes it does matter and should match up.

It’s likely that a few templates will be buggy and need merging.

Normally you’re better off waiting for the style developer to release their update (or buy from some like @Russ and @Steve F who are super fast at releasing their updates)
