Question about css or templates - Editing the Navigation area

Ok, when it comes to css, I know enough to be dangerous. :)

I have tried to put the navigation links and the 'user controls' (where the user name, inbox, alerts and logout are located) on two different lines and can't seem to get this to work..

I would ideally like them on separate lines and different colors. Is this possible? Easy for someone that knows what they are doing?

Thanks for any pointers in getting this done!

Sorry to be dense, but source from where? I have the header templates, header.css, navigation templates, navigation.css...

Tell me which one you're looking for and I will post them up.

Here is a link to the test site where I have been playing with the menu system. I have gotten it to move, I still need to get it to move to the right some and then I need to break the left from the right so they are two different pieces of code so I can move them and color then differently.

    Thanks for your help!
