Purge Hidden Threads & Posts - Permanently remove soft-deleted threads and posts from your XenForo forum safely and quickly.

This addon adds a simple Admin CP tool for clearing out soft-deleted content.
It is seperate to the ForumFortress anti-spam system which is currently under development.
This plugin doesn't actively stop spam, but is a useful tool to clear up anything that you used the XF spam tool to get rid of but don't want it lingering as soft deleted.

If your forum has built up hidden spam posts, old deleted threads, moderation leftovers or just general test posts & junk over time, this lets you remove...

Yes this is a great feature but unfortunately doesn't let you target posts in threads - just soft deleted threads.

This plugin was essentially developed to simplify the process and offer a one-button 'get rid of it all' solution after completing quite a few cleanups of forums that have long been using the spam cleanup tool without it configured to hard delete.
 
i really want to run this at least once but this is something that is very hard to see if something went wrong. sure i can take a backup but what after that lol. i have no easy way to see what actually happens when i run the purge command lol. and if the data is removed properly using xenforo's internal system which updates the connected parameters.
 
and as i feared. installing this led to this:

and i am now stuck with this despite deleting the addon files.

so yeah, it would be nice to get an updated version with a fix for this assuming this is not a fault at my end so that i can install it and run it before doing a proper uninstall thanks!

Thanks for the detailed report - I have traced the problem and successfully reproduced it - and will have a fix out shortly. Comes down to the plugin originally starting life as part of another one and I didn't reset my dev XF prior to ensuring this installed okay.

Keep an eye out for 1.0.1!
 
thanks. this one installed fine. the links to soft-deleted posts and threads do not work though. page numbers on deleted content list also point to dead links.

While the delete buttons /should/ work I'm taking the plugin offline as clearly what tested OK for me might not work OK elsewhere so there's further compatibility tests to be run.

Thanks for your feedback - keep an eye out for an all new version once it's ready...
