When the task to rebuild the mirrors is executed, they are assigned the date and time when the rebuild was run, not the date and time when the attachment was published.

Steps to follow:

1. Configure a node with old publications as a mirror.
2. Execute the rebuild task.
3. The mirrors will have been generated with the current date and time, whereas the attachments will have older dates and times.

Thank you for reporting this issue. We need a little more detail to look into this. When a mirror is created, the media item takes its date from the forum attachment's own upload date rather than from when the rebuild runs, so we need to know where the newer dates come from.

• Which date are you comparing the mirrored media against: the date of the post that contains the attachment, or the attachment's own date in the admin control panel under Content > Attachments?
• For one affected file, what date does the admin control panel show for the original forum attachment, and what date does the mirrored media item show?
• Which rebuild tool did you run? Was it 'Sync attachment media mirroring' under the Media Gallery rebuild tools, or something else?
• Were these posts or attachments imported from another platform, or created or modified by an add-on (for example one that converts linked or external images into attachments)? Please list your installed add-ons.
