XF 1.4 Protect Embedded Video and File Urls in Xenforo... How do I?

Hello,
I have several forums that contain paid content as embedded video and file downloads. These forums are protected by user permissions.

How do I keep urls of these videos and files from being copied and shared with people who have not paid for the content and do not have permission to access the paid forum?

Any attached/uploaded content will be permission protected.

is it possible to protect a youtube video embedded in the forum? what about wistia?

the embedded video could be uploaded to the site if necessary. would I need to use a specific video format or player for the embedded files?

If YouTube provides a method of protecting content, yes.
Otherwise set the forum permissions and only those with access will be able to view the content - but that won't stop anyone accessing the YT URL.

You would need an add-on/relevant code (such as flowplayer) to upload and embed video on your own server.
