Hello, I recently created a XenForo forum and both myself (ranked super administrator on the site) and all other users do not have permission to view both their own and other members profile pages. When you try and view it, you get the following error: "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.". I have checked the permissions numerous times and I have all of the necessary permissions checked.

Has anyone had this problem before? How can I fix this?

Use the Analyze Permissions function to determine why.

I did analyze permissions, and it says both myself and all usergroups have permission to view profile pages.

Do you have any add-ons that have to do with profiles installed?

The only addons related to profiles I have installed are: XenMoods, Avatar Gallery, and Sidebar Avatars.

Disable those add-ons and see if the error persists. If it doesn't, re-enable them individually to isolate the add-on causing the problem.

So, can you confirm that the permission "View user profiles" is set to Allow and when you use the Analyze permissions feature in the ACP, it confirms that ie looks like this:

If so, then what about the following:

What do users have their profile privacy settings set to - All Visitors, Members Only or People You Follow Only?

For you as an admin, do you have the Bypass User Privacy set to Allow?

I had this problem because of the "remove members tab" addon
