XF 1.4 Problems with permissions

I got a portal page, if people click on a link there that throws them to the URL of a website that guests doesn't have permission to read, it will give them errors codes. This also happen before I got the portal page.

however the problem was there before I had the portal

There's an add-on manipulating the output of that page.

Disable all add-ons, and see if it still looks like that.

The only addon installed is the portal one, and I had this problem before I even uploaded it.

No threads are visible to guests. You'll need to change this, at least for now, if you want others to look at this issue.

I changed it so people wouldn't get confused as we started sharing links to get people there.

It looks like some sort of encoding issue.

Please disable all add-ons and switch to the default XenForo style so we can see if the issue still occurs.
