XF 2.1 Problems with colors and formatting

Experiencing an issue where if several colors and different formats are used in the same thread, editing one leads to text below it inheriting the same characteristics.

For example if we change red to blue (or black) the following text becomes blue (or black), not just the section we highlighted during the edit. Same if we change font size, bold, unbold, italic etc.

Seems to have only been happening following update to the latest version.

I think this is the same problem:

In Firefox, under certain circumstances the editor applies bold formatting not only to the selected paragraph but also to the following paragraphs. The attached video shows a reduced test-case. Tested in Firefox 68 on Windows and Linux. This could be a regression in XenForo 2.1.3 / Froala 2.9.6.

Xenforo 2.1.14 is scheduled for release this month (August 2019) and I understand that will include a fix/workaround.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't see the other thread before, but it seems to be the same issue.

Hopefully a fix is on the way

Yes. The problem is actually with the Froala editor, not Xenforo, but Xenforo will I think use a different version in the next release.;
