XF 1.4 Privacy settings / Show current activity

I have both "Show your online status" and "Show your current activity" UNchecked but users can still see what forum/thread/profile I'm looking at. Is this because I'm a staff member?

They won't be able to see it if your privacy options are set like that.
You can confirm that by checking my activity.

You can see it yourself, if that's what's confusing you.

I've tested it with another account and my activity is still viewable.

No, no permissions like that. I checked again and now the privacy settings are worked as intended. I guess there may have been some caching or something similar involved.
