Prevent user from posting after x post sent to moderation queue for approval

Hi,

with the current state of spammers automating posting on the forums, it would be nice if we can prevent they make new post until there posts are approved or spam cleaned. Now I will have bots that will make posts every 5 mins (automated) and a spam queue with sometimes over 200 posts to approve (or in this case simply delete).

It would be nice, if a user has made 10 posts that are already waiting for approval, they won't be able to make more posts. It saves resources and time for me, and maybe others who experience the same issues. With the rise of AI agents, I can only assume this will be a bigger problem in the future.

(Maybe a extra field in usergroup promotions, where a users has sent xx post to be moderated?)

Set the post flood time (minimum time between messages) much longer, then override for approved members.

ie create a user promotion to add secondary group after one post approved, and in that group permissions, set bypass flood check to yes.

The bots are approved members. But their post contents match my spam criteria.
