Prevent Guest from Viewing Images and Videos

1. Does anyone know if its possible to prevent unconfirmed/unregistered guests from viewing images and videos? If yes, how?

2. Also, is there any negative effects in terms of search engines/google bots of not allowing guests to view images/videos?

You can change group permissions for prevent people (guest) from viewing attachments.

Video's however are another issue.....

Thanks Adam! I do see you can prevent guests from viewing attachments. As for video's, I was told there is an add on to prevent video's from being viewed...does anyone know if there is an add on for that?

One of these 3 should fit your needs

Google negative affect is that anything Google has already found, it will be unable to find again. So you may take a small hit at first, but it should recover quickly after as Google will just assume your site has changed. Expect to see Google bots on your site to "make up" for what has changed.

Hi Boroble, this did not work. I am still able to view the video's as a guest. (Very easy to install though )

Also, the "hello there guests" in the message, becomes a hyperlink and it makes the overall message look a little off, can you please help me with both of these issues? Thanks.
