XF 2.2 Posting in rare cases also sends private message (solved)

Hey!

We're encountering a strange issue on our 2.2.11: There's one user regularly posting videos. The last two posts were also sent via private message to another, totally unrelated user. I clarified that it was sent as PM and wasn't just a notification. Both users don't follow each other. The user posting the videos states that he has never sent such private messages.

Any ideas where to start debugging?

Yea. I think they're opening a conversation page by mistake or lying.

Check your server access log to see if they're opening the conversation page to start a PM with the member.

Ah yes, good call! Although the user in question already requested to get his account deleted.. so yeah, seems to be a mental thing, not a technical.
