XF 1.3 Polls raising alerts when finished

Hi,

I am wondering if it would be somehow possible to create alerts for a certain user group if a certain timed poll has finished (like a poll running for a week)?
Little background story:
We are running a gaming community and our game admins would like to be alerted somehow if a vote for banning a player has closed.

Any ideas how this could be accomplished?
