How can I get rid of the entire 'Poll' section presented to a user starting a thread?

The only thing I found under Options > Threads, Discussions and Conversations is a setting for 'Maximum Number of Poll Choices' which I set to zero, but the poll option is still showing when a guest is posting a thread.

As I stated on your ticket, there is no permission related to poll creation.

This add-on allows setting Poll Permissions for user groups and users.
