Please support me to choose a VPS package

Hello,

I am having a client ( I did website projects for him) he asked me to choose a VPS package for his websites, I can choose some VPS plans as follows but I don't know which is the best one in them.

The VPS will be used to host some WP sites + 1 Xenforo forum with traffic from 800 to 1200 visitors per day, need root access, SSD and WHM/cPanel are prefered, 4 GB of RAM and 4 CPU cores.

Does any one suggest which one is the best in the list above or do you know some VPS companies that providing high quality services with good price.

His budget is from $45 to $60 /month

Any recommendations?

I used Ramnode in the past, when my VPS high load or exceeded RAM limit, they suspended VPS without any reports, felt annoy with that and cancelled their service later.
For Linode, I will try to have a look on their offers.

Thanks @Roo82 and @BoostN, I checked your recommendations but they are not better if compared with other hosting companies that I mentioned in the list above. I am still having a week to choose a good hosting for him, his current hosting could not accommodate with current traffic on his sites and he is wanting to move to a new host urgent.

I am emailing him and asking if he can add a little money to his budget as at least $80+/month or $100/month so I can choose a dedicated server for him, it is easier for me, with 1000+ visitors daily on per website that he's owning then he is earning more money by selling products and services. I think it is not a problem with him. I checked dedicated hosting offers on this section

Honestly I have many web clients who are using VPS or dedicated server for their websites, they are really big customers :) and ready to pay high for web services. I also recommended them use Xenforo when they needed a forum beside their blogs/websites.

I will check all your recommendations here thus don't hesitate to advise me which hosting companies are the best.

You are right, I am also using a dedicated server for my websites and it is dedicated resource (RAM, CPUs...) that not shared with others hence it is stable and better than VPS.
But to go with dedicated servers, you need to have a decent budget, at least $80+/ month or more than.
I am sure you knew this, we will get what we pay for! :)
 
We have the highest VPS server package with three sites on it and we are pushing the limits on it.
 
I'd personally recommend either DigitalOcean or Vultr for hosting your site.
If you're experiencing high volumes of traffic / users, you should really look into using a cluster of machines rather than one, beefy machine.
It's redundancy, and will be cheaper.
 
Visitors per day is a meaningless statistic. If you get 1200 users/day, but they each only load two pages before going away, you can run that on a $15/mo shared host. If those same 1200 users are each posting 5x/day, looking at a couple dozen pages, and uploading a bunch of photos and videos, then you're looking for a $100/mo VPS.

What is your actual RAM demand? How many pages/day are being delivered? If you go with a moderately-priced VPS, you can scale up and down to get the server capacity correctly sized to the load. If you screw up the specs on a dedicated box, you have to migrate all the data to a new one.

Requesting 1 page still requires processing - whether or not it's cached.
Yes, posting a thread will be more intensive, however loading a page is not "resource free".

Let alone, RAM isn't going to be a big issue here, apart from cache storage. You want CPU performance, not RAM. RAM can't do any processing.

But you don't buy VPS services based on processor time, you buy them based on RAM allocation. The only time I've ever been processor-limited was because something wasn't working correctly. It's similar to the reason people are paying extra for SSDs.

This task was done and I could buy a VPS for my client.
Total is $60 for a VPS 4GB of RAM ($40) and 1 license WHM/cPanel ~@20/month

I used DigitalOcean or Vultr, they are pretty good but speed of DO is average with me while Vultr can suspend my VPS if I don't reply to their ticket ( in the case my website has problems that affect to their network ) for 12+ hours.
