These days people are addicted to posting memes like this on their profile.
And people are also addicted to sharing something on their profile that someone else posted. If you made the profile post with the exact same text editor as the thread post text editor without the title field, and call it a "Profile Thread Add-On" I'm sure your sales would sky rocket! Users would be able to share each others post, and make replies with the same reply text editor that's used for replies on a forum thread.
Making it able to be the homepage if we want it to be would be great. We could include forum post in the main activity feed on the homepage.
Have the thread title and a 200 character excerpt of the thread. Include new media post, with full border filled images, no little thumbnails.
Allow users to share an actual thread that they like in the profile feed. Have a share on profile icon on every thread and reply for replies they like.
