Implemented  Please have "All Recent Messages" button remain, when there are no "Whats New" threads

Clicking on Whats New brings up this view. But if there are no New Threads the All Recent Messages link/button does not show. I think if the All Recent Messages remained, even if there were no New Threads, that would be much better.

Especially for the slower moving sites, and even for larger sites when people like to mark the entire forum as 'read' - but they may have another few minutes available to check the forum... so it is probable that could encourage posting.

Agreed, or it could at least be included in the "No results found" message (as in, "No results found - view all recent messages here"). :)

I think that if "What's New" yields no results, All recent messages should be displayed.

I just went to a new XenForo site. First time there, I'm not logged in.
Clicked on what's new?

I got:
No results found.

Wow, that's quite the bad advertising for the site ?
I guess not much happens here.

For not logged in users, a "What's New" query should *NEVER* be "No results found".
This should be fixed.

New for not logged in users should be "list forum posts from most recent, backwards"

You are referring to the top 0.5% of forum users who hammer the what's new button.

I am talking about something that happens more often.
When I go to a site for the first time,
I am a guest.
I click on "What's new".
"No results found" would only be acceptable if there were NO posts in the forum.
This is my first time there.
Maybe for guests, it should just say "Most Recent Posts" - ie. What's new only appears for logged in users.

Try this site.

Click what's new.

I think the consistency Xenforo should maintain is consisently keeping xenforo sites looking good.

"No results found. Nothing to see. Try another site".
if a forum has any posts a Guest should never see this message.
