You have a resource for Development tutorials here: http://xenforo.com/community/resources/categories/development-tutorials.36/

You have a forum for them here: http://xenforo.com/community/forums/development-tutorials.80/

Your staff posts to one but not the other on certain occasions.

Was looking for this thread: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/database-schema-differences.22621/

It was not in the Resource manager.

Furthermore it is simply confusing to have a forum dedicated to Development Tutorials and a Resource category dedicated to them. Consolidation of that top forum might help?
 
I see that that sticky is the only one that isn't attached to a resource. Can that be recreated as a resource so that it fits into the Resource category and can be watched for updates?
 
It is no more confusing than having a forum dedicated to add-ons and have a category for add-ons in the resource manager. The resource manager posts to the forum.

The thread pre-dates the resource manager, and it isn't required to post everything in the resource manager.
