Placing ads: what are the options?

Hi, so I intend to support my forum using ads.
Problem is, I'm not sure how to go at it in terms of technical implementation.

What did you guys choose? Is there a straightforward, elegant way to integrate the .js from the ads providers to xenforo?

Sign up for Google AdSense.

Copy the code provided into the ad_ templates.

Hi Brogan, so the thing is... can't really use adsense or the other major providers because my site is an adult one. Is ad_ templates still the best option for a custom .js?

If the .js is common to all ad's then you can include one .js template in the PAGE_CONTAINER template.

If it's different for each ad then add it to each ad_ template or create a .js template for each one and call them all in the PAGE_CONTAINER template.
